Internationalisation
Hi
I am designing a database in Access 2010, 64 bit, which runs on Windows 7.
I am doing this with English versions of both the above programmes.
When completed it is required to run on Spanish versions of both Windows 7 and Office 2010.
Is the 64 bit a problem? Do all the "Spanish" computers need to be 64 bit etc?
I have already noticed one problem, namely if I enter € 2.50 on my machine it reads the same.
However the Spanish computers will not accept this format and require you to imput € 2,50. (using a comma, not a period)
If you enter € 2.50 it returns € 250.00.
Has anybody any experience or sound advice to offer upon what set up I need on the "Spanish" computers to run my database
correctly? I have bought the Spanish Language pack for Office 2010. Could I, for example, install the English Office 2010 and
then install the language pack? So that the computers have the English version of Office2010 installed but with a Spanish front end.
Regards
Cheyanne
