problem with saving on parent access 2007 table

i have an access 2007 database of which a form was derived from a parent table..i have a text box on the form for computing some totals upon clicking....it works well but the problem is it only saves on the form but not the table..


ANY HELP WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED!!!!

Upon the principles of normalisation, calculations are not and should not be stored in a table. It is wasteful or resources, increases file size and decreases operational efficiency.

Why do you want this calculation stored in a table?

What are you actually trying to achieve?

Also it is considered shouting generally when you type in capitals and bold.

it only saves on the form but not the table

Saves what to a form?
Please show us what you have tried. What errors did you get?
