    Sub form data input

I have 2 forms; the main form is a shift report, the second form is regarding received complaints. I would like to have the shift report form open and to then be able to enter complaint data into a subform on the shift report form. I need to be able to add complaint data for one call then click new record to add data re subsequent calls on the subform.

Probably easier way to do this but there are more forms to come in the future. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a reasonable setup - form/subform linked with Master/Child links properties set. What is the issue you have encountered in accomplishing this?

I guess my knowledge of access is good but limited to a narrow band. Thanks for your reply; i will do some research on the master/child setup. What the current setup is that we exit the shift report to enter data in the complaint form. There are duplicated fields etc. What I want to do is just stay in the shift report and enter complaints details into the complaints form which I will try to insert as a sub form.

    Thanks again.
