    Deploying a database

Hi all, thanks for all the help so far, its going well, I just wondered what the standard was for giving the database to someone to use, i just need my customer to enter orders in to a form and run a few reports, I don't really want them to be able to delete anything from a table and stuff like that.

    thanks

It depends on the location of the customer. You can split the database, store the backend on a shared drive and give the front end to the user(s) to store locally. This is more for an office setting. If you are handing out a final product, a .mde/.accde file would work as well. I believe the developer edition has some more options as far as table protection but I'm not familiar with it.
