Question Form - turn off scrolling records

Would like to have the user of the form not be able to scroll through multiple records with the mouse. I have a new record control, and a save new record control, and I want them to use the controls. Also be able to filter out a record, but not scroll throught all records. Can anyone help?

    Thank you very much!
    Kim

Form Property "Cycle" - change to Current Record
Form Property Record Selectors - set to No

I changed them, but it does not appear to have fixed the problem. Is it supposed to work properly in form view, or do I have to create the front end before this will show that it is working? Thanks so much!

I always close the form (report, etc) and then re-open it. I have found that to be the safest test.

    Which one isn't working?

I changed the Record Selectors to No, and the Cycle to current record. I closed the whole thing down, and while in the form, if I scroll the mouse, it moves throught all the records still.

Hm...I'm on my laptop, I'll have to check this out with my mouse later when I have it, see if it happens to me.

OK, I can't reproduce it so I don't know what is causing this. The only other property which may have some effect is the Default View set to Single Form. See if this solves it.

If you are still having problems, I would start a new thread and see if someone else can help you. Sorry!
