    Dll Error in Access 2007

    Hi Guys,

I am facing issue importing date into access 2007. it gives me a error as "Error in loading Dll". i went through Microsoft KB it states I have to register Dao360.dll & Msado15.dll file but it's the solution for Access 2002. I was not able to find any solution for 2007.

    Please Help!!

Re: dll error in access 2007

I had the same issue as you. Every time I tried to create a new form or something like that I got a "dll error" . I fixed it with these steps.
    1. Click on "start" button on bottom left of screen
    2. Click on "all programs" > "microsoft office" > "microsoft office tools" > "microsoft office diagnostics"

    or

click "start" > in search bar type "office diagnostics" > click on the software and run it.

That fixed the problem. You posted the problem a while ago but if you still have issues...hopefully that fixes it.

If you've got an older version of windows (i.e. XP) try to look for the microsoft office diagnostics software and run it. It should work the same way. Sorry, but I've forgotten how XP works!!

the database was likely made in an older version of access then you are using or it was updated. it needs to be opened in VBA view then go to the library and un-check the file reference so it isn't loaded on the database.
