Need help with Forms

Hello,

I have two forms which I would like to have become dependent on one another. For example one form has a few checkboxes, some dates, file info, and municipality info. The other has the same general make up but I would like to create an automated way to update one form, by checking a box in the first form.

So... If I check a box in form 1 I want it to then automatically enter a date from that form to form 2.. I'm lost as to where I begin in this process as I am very new to Access

Any help is appreciated.
