    Start a new database

I am a member of a bike club and would like to have a database where I could keep track of everyones mileage for the year. I have an Access file with evryones name but do not know how to set up the mileage and date and then sum the mileage for the year. I would go to a form and put the date and the mileage of that days ride and then in a report have it print out the total milage for that year.

I would start with these two white papers.

Then start your design and layout. Once you reach a stumbling point, post back with specific questions. We are here to help.
