    Ribbon in access 2010

Does anyone know how to modify a ribbon so that it will open a form by clicking on it, but not using a macro ? This was easy in previous versions.

are you talking about switching between design and form view? or just opening a form to start with?

Can't you just double click the form in the object window at the far left hand side of the access window just like you did in prior versions?

No - because the objects window is hidden and I want a sigle click to access a form. It worked well in previous versions

How do you expect to open an object with a single click if you are hiding the object window?

If you show your object window you can right click on the bar at the top of the object window, choose navigation options and in the option group 'open objects with'

Choose Single Click instead of Double Click.

If you don't have the object window showing I don't know how you would single click the object to start with.

Well, a button on a toolbar/ribbon gives you quick access to a form. For example if you press the find icon on the toolbar/ribbon, the find form comes up.
Imagine what a pain it would be if you had to go to the navigator window, find the 'find' form and double click it.
