    How to hold the Values in Form.

    Dears, Hope u are fine and enjoying access forum.



    i have one table which having the fields of:

    1. Tran_Date
    2. Shift_No
    3. Emp_No
    4. Machine_No

    5. Pc's_Prodcued.
    6. Pc's_Rejected
    7. Reject Reasons
    8. Note

    so when we move to a form for daily transactions so there are around 1 page transactions having same fields from 1-4 and just need to enter data for 5-8.

    The date i can hold with the default value but how to hold the next 3 values if being not changed till the next tran, which may have other shift and emp and machine so on.

    please advise me ur best, if possible.

    thanks for ur time. but it seems little diff to apply or eighter i am not able to understand it so far. please is there any easy way out or any other text to understand or u have some examples?. will be greatfull.

    Put the code in the link in the AfterUpdate event of each control you wish to carry forward the value. Use your control names of course.
