    combo box accent insensitive

    Hello!

I have a combo box in a form that gets names from a table. There are some names with accent, like my own name, Cássio. However, if I type 'Ca' it will select all names starting with Ca (like Carlos, Carla, etc.) but won't select Cássio...

Is there a way to make the combo box accent insensitive?

    Regards,

    Cássio

I don't know of a way to make it accent insensitive, but you can add code to include 'Cá' when 'Ca' is entered.

    Would that work for you?

Thanks. I did already use code for that and it works. However, I was wondering whether there would be any built-in solution... Like when I search contacts in Outlook, which is case insensitive.
