    Unhappy Report Field Truncates

I have a field that will grow "expand" on some reports and not expand on other or new reports even thow the access property for grow is set to "yes".

Any ideas as to what may be causing this or what can be corrected to allow the field to expand on the report?

    Many thanks.

P.S. The only modifications I have made to the field is to change it from Plain Text to Rich Text. I have also made sure this change is reflected on all the reports using this field.

BobLarson (username) seems to have a lot of knowledge about rich text fields (FYI).

are you sure some of the other rpt properties are not stopping this from happening?

Thanks for the response. I did a line by line check on the properties and can't find where there is a difference between the reports it does work and the reports it doesn't. This is what is perplexing.

Try this, open the design of one of the reports that *does* correctly expand the field. Change the record source of that report to the record source of the report that *does not* expand correctly. Change your fields where necessary but you are only really testing one field then save it as some new report name and open it. See if it is correctly expanding the field for the new record source. If it is you likely have some setting you're missing.
