Using a particular cell in a table as the Default Value for a form

Is there a way to do this? I'm trying to implement the Issue Number of my magazine (the data of which is in a dedicated table), into the subscription form.

Add a yes no field called default. Set this field on the record you want to default to, to yes. Add a filter in the recordsource to filter for default yes now the form will load just this record.
