    Fill out forms

I'm trying to put together a database that will automatically fill out various forms. My office uses various legal forms and currently uses an excel spread sheet with the forums transposed into various work books.

There is a main page where information is inputted then is automatically inserted into the forums.

Is there a way to do this within Access??

The answer to your question is, 'Yes.'

But I think you expect more than that.

Access reports are not best suited to this requirement but I would think you can set up your boilerplate text as images or string literals and insert the variable data in predefined places on the report (if the boilerplate is an image) or concatenate the variable data with the string literals.

I have to ask: 'Why Access?' Why Excel come to that? Word is the application for documents. Unlike Excel or Word, Access does not store your completed form, you have to regenerate it if you want a reprint. I think there maybe a print-to-file option but I'm not sure. [Anyone?]
