    investigate db size

I have an Access 2003 db with only a few tables and each table has small number of records (record number in hundreds and each record is rather small). And yet the size of the mdb file is at the max 2GB. I am wondering if there a way to find out what in the db is occupying the space?

Also, I tried the "compact and repair" option and I got some "invalid argument" error and the db doesn't shrink at all. What would be the problem?

    Thank you in advance.

I believe you have some compile errors. F11 then Debug>Compile and fix any errors. Then try your Compact and Repair.
