events on RECORDS?

I will be pushing out some InfoPath forms, that will be adding and changing records in MS Access tables. I have Access forms the detect the BeforeUpdate and AfterUpdate events and create log entries. Is there a way I can detect these events on a table or record, when an Access form is not being used?

you may asking about the triggers when any record is entered to the database or if anyone is deleted?
unfortunately there is no such trigger in Ms-Access
