    Dlookup windows 7 64 with 2000 db

I have a database that I've been running for many years. It is currently in 2000 format and I'm running under Windows 7 32 bit. My client has recently added a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit.

The problem is, I use dlookup to display some values on a form. It works fine on all the other computers but doesn't seem to want to work under 64 bit (the text box remains blank). Not sure if this is an operating system problem or if it's possible they missed something when they installed access.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks.

    Lloyd.

I don't think we have enough information to give a reasonable answer. There may be an issue with Access 32 bit vs 64 bit but as I said, just guessing here.

    Thanks.

I was hoping somebody else had the same problem and had found a solution.

I guess we can cross our fingers and just wait.

I set the system up on another computer running Windows 7 64 bit and it ran fine so it's not an operating system problem.

I guess a re-installation of Access is in order for that PC and/or maybe trying to troubleshoot on that PC.

My initial guess based on the issue at hand, would be to check which version of Access he is running from the "problem" pc, and check the security settings of his installation.

I made it into the clients and reloaded access. The problem went away but now they have had it occasionally on a couple of other computers.
