    Relationships not working as expected

Alright then, hours worth of typing wasted because I closed a tab...

Let me give you the short version then.

I know very little of access and would like for you to assist me in my journey of complex tables, relationships and forms so I can simplify OR to just get it to work...

Let me start by saying, this is for a preschool report with subjects, categories for each subject and about 20 assessments for each category. It is very complex but they won't have it any other way.

So here is how my relationships work..

Yes complicated I know... Each field name with the word recog is so that it the student data sheet would display everything accordingly. What I mean is if I link it with the ID, then I have to re-enter each subject for each student and that isn't cool. So this is my solution and as of now it displays as follows.

YEAH, it works is what my first thoughts were. Until I started editing data...

Still I thought whoohoo after 5 hours of suffering it still works all the way... then horror. Evil had struck my database. If I edit it under "jannie" it changes it under "Piet" aswell.

This will not do as I have to have seperate scoring for each child.

Any help on getting this to work. Would be much appreciated, and yes I did spend over 10 hours today to get this worjing like this (including trying to learn access).

I am at nerves end. Please make me look stupid and tell me to change one setting. I would be happy.

    Thanks in advance
