    Error message for criteria statment

    Data type mismatch in criteria expression. (Error 3464)



    I'm trying to make a criteria statment for employees that make more than $44,000

    Here is the statement I typed in the following =">$44,000"

    why would this not work

    unable to attach the file i was working with it exceeds the size limit

    $'s are an output format function and not stored in a table.If it is a numeric field then try >40000

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
