    Access shortcut?

I'm not sure how to explain this, but I've seen "master" databases that provide shortcuts that are read, input, and delete only. I don't know how to do this. I have a database that I want to put into a shared folder and allow everybody a form shortcut to access and input data, but not to have access to the queries, reports, forms and table window. I hope this explains it. I have no idea how to go about this. Does anybody know, and if so, can you explain in detail? Thanks

I doubt you can do that. form shortcuts have to open access first, but it opens the form directly after access has started.

more explanation?? what does "shortcuts that are read, input, and delete only" mean??

That should be easy to explain but isn't. Anyway, I'll try. Where I work, the access administrator made a master form that's kept in a shared folder. But the same program that employees use, is just the form only. That means when they open it, theres no main window, only the form. They can't look at the form in design view, they can only input data. I know this is very simple technique, I just don't the terminology for what has been done to achieve this. It almost seems like it should have to do with permissions or something. I've attached a screenshot of the window I'm talking about that they cannot see.

I'd have no idea, sir. There's probably more than one way to do that. It would only be a google search away from me, but I really have no idea what you're trying to get at here.

All I can say at this point is that in order for a form object shortcut to work, Access has to be opened unless you're disappearing it with an API function, which is readily available everywhere on the web.
