Published Access 2007 DB won't allow edits

I have a published Access 2007 database on a SharePoint site. I recently tried to open the database and make some design changes. It allowed me to make the changes, but it would not allow me to SAVE the changes. (I own the Database and the SharePoint site).

I then made a copy to my hard drive and attempted the same thing. Same result. I can make the change but it won't allow me to save it.

BTW I don't get an error message in either case.

In addition, I can create New content (like a new report) and save it, I just can't change existing content (ie reports and forms).

If it's a compiled *.accde file, you can't save any design changes in that and you'll need the source *.accdb file.

Good thought, but this is not a compiled database. I am working with the .accdb file.
