Tools to help working with VBA and SQL code.

I am fairly new to VBA and SQL. While i am no programmer i am dabbling in a few different languages. One of the difficulties that i have working with VBA and SQL in MS Access is the tiny font of the SQL code when I switch to the SQL view of a query and the fact that different key words are not marked with different colors. I was wandering if some of the more experienced users can recommend some other editor then the one built in access, or some tips to make coding more visually friendly.
    Thank you in advance.
