    Unhappy Access forms

Hi, I have recently built my first database. I am pretty green but feel I have done ok up till now.
I have customer, stock and orders tables and order details and stock value queries. I now need to create order forms with a company logo, and invoice forms with the same layout.
I have four price lists so probably need four different invoice queries to link the forms to.
The order forms need to include multiple products, but on the order query I have input several lines for each order.

i.e. if i have one order with 10 products I have had to produce 10 lines for it, meaning that I would have to make 10 order forms when I want one.
Sorry for being a dweeb but I could do with help.
I fully intend to go on a course soon!
I might be an idea to attach my DB but I don't know how!!

    A starting point...

Shearnie - Without being able to see how your db was set-up, I can only provide you with generalities. A starting point may be with the Order form. Because I just installed A2010 and have yet to open it, some of the information provided may be based on my experience with A2003 but, since most of this will be very general in nature, most, if not all, should also apply to A2010.

Myself and many others, use a form/subform in these circumstances. The Form is based on the orders and the subform is based on the details. (Customes place 1 order (Form) which can include many items/products (Subform)). You probably already set up that relationship when you created the tables. There should, also, be some sort of form creation wizzard that walks you through the process, and once two data sources are selected, prompts for the form/subform particulars. I would select datasheet view for the subform, as a starting point.

In the past, I have used the order table as the recordsource for the form, and a query for the details. But, that is just my preference.

    Hope this helps...
