How to solve locked error happening on data import?

Hello,

I'm using Saved Imports and trying to update an import but getting an error that "database engine could not lock table because it is already in use by other user or process". This is the first time I'm getting this error. All of the files and processes are closed, I tried starting/restarting the DB but it's not correct. Any ideas how to remedy?

Are you getting that issue when trying to alter the saved import method, or when trying to use the saved import method to import a second time to the same table?

It's happening when I Run a Saved Import via RunSavedImportExport Macro. The tables already exist with data, and I'm just overwriting them. Very important to note that MOST of the import jobs work fine, it just throws an error on a few of them, which makes this strange. Any ideas?

compact & repair; if a split db be sure to do this for both front & back files.

Thanks all. The problem was that I had a Form open which the "locked" tables where linked to. Closing that solved my issue.
