    Search on in a form

    Need help again.

I was trying to get my data displayed on a form where the user can't edit it. Just view it. At the top of the form a field for searching. They enter specific Data in the search field and the related data/info is displayed on the lower part of the form.

I keep getting nothing found, error messages about trying to edit, update with doing something first.

So starting from scratch how should I go about doing the above?

when you say "error about something", the problem can't be solved. be specific pls.

to prevent any editing or anything to a form, set these properties:

    • allowadditions=false
    • allowedits=false
