    Cool creating a scheduler/planner - help

    Hi,

So I read all these different forums, people asking how to create a scheduler with a few different variable etc.. The responses seem to suggest the same thing, it can't be explained easily. it's a very complicated process.

then I made my own and I would like to get some expert's opinion on it.

basically what i'm trying to create is a scheduler for managing car bookings. Let's say i've got 10 cars, 15 customers, 8 drivers. I always get booking requests from the customers and it's a great hassle to follow up with it using excel... I need this thing to work automatically and provide me weekly schedules.
I almost got this far. I could even survive with what i've got BUT,

can't get the excel to display my pivot table correctly. it creates a nice schedule but the values show as a calculation. it shows the values correctly in pivot table view in access but when i want to get it on excel, the values turn into calculations.. it's multiplying vehicle1 by customer4.... driving me nuts!!!

and of course it gives me no clue whether there's a conflict or not.

i would really appreciate if anyone would take the time to check my database, make comments/changes... at this point any help is appreciated.

    thanks

    at least tell me this,

in the pivot table i see everything correctly. for row i put the date of the day, driver, vehicle. in the column i put the exact hour of departure.

in the main field i put the customers and it gives me a nice table. but when i export this to excel, all the customers turn into numbers and i can't get access or excel to stop making calculations and leave the value as it is.

is there a quick way around this?
