Cant open Access 2024 Templates

After purchasing and installing Desktop version of Access 2024 i cannot open any access templates, i get the error message, TEMPLATE xxxxxxxxxxx COULD NOT BE INSTANTIATED, THE TABLE xxxxxxxxxxx COULD NTO BE READ FROM THE TEMPLATE FILE, THE OBJIECT MAY B IN AN UNRECOGNIZED FORMAT OR CONTAIN INVALID DATA

Well I know that works.
Try a repair first, failing that uninstall and reinstall.
I a using 32bit as well, so not sure if that could make a difference?

tried repair and that basically reinstalled, no improvement

i am using 64 bits but i would think that is supposed to work

can you tell me where i can download 64 bit templates online?

In the compressed file you will also find the .accdb file

so i was able to open that file but i still cant open any of the templates that come with Access

I an using 365 64bit and that opens the contacts template without a problem

is the 2024 version in English? Or another language? And bought from a reputable supplier (ideally MS). I once bought a supposedly English version, but was actually German - gave me all sorts of problems.

Look for anything with an accdt extension.
You could try an online template, but I do not think that makes a difference.
