    Access Database engine can not find a record in table with key matching fields

    Hi all,


    i am learning access. And tried to make purchase order system. I have done all the data normalization and relationship.

    Now,
    I have created a form named "ViewCustomerF" and it has a subform named with link of "CustomerID" field.

    Whenever i tried to add data to related sub form, it gives an error as per attached screenshot.

    Your structure is Customer - Orders - Items

    So the basic layout of the Main Form is based on the Customer table with a Subform based on the Orders Table.

    Then you have a second Subform based on the OrderDetails Table.

    Check your relationships, the way you're linking fields, and make sure the CustomerID exists in the main form before trying to add data in the subform.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
