Can an access database be exported as excel ?

    Hi,

A friend has similar records but in excel and wishes to compare to my acess database. can I export my text fields as excel columns and the records as rows ?
not everything to be exported as some have photo addresses to my D drive,
perhaps to indicate I have a photo might be useful if he hasnt one,
However I have a subform for the main photos as sometimes I have more than one per record.
Getting my head around how to deal with that as an export to excel may be a bridge too far ! (excellent movie by the way)

He says excel can display photos, thats news to me !

Also he is sending me the excel database, how best can I compare that to mine, using the surname field ?

    Cheers

You can link to an excel file or you can export a table or query to excel

or you can go the other way and from within excel, import data from access
