As you can see there is some white space on the right side of the form which doesn't show in the design view. Any idea on how to remove this whitespace?

IIRC, that space is reserved for vertical scrollbar. Try setting property to Neither.

Command Buttons Only Work If DB Opened In Design View Then Form View
OnClick event doesn't fire unless I switch to design view back to form view
Error 2455; Is Form view => Design view the same as Form view= close?
