Ms Access main Nav window trying to rename a query

I have O365 latest Access with latest updates. For a while now, if I misspell or mistype a query name, and try to rename/correct it on the main window, Access stops the rename almost immediately before I can adjust the name. I got around this by creating my own MyRename function, BUT I was wondering if anyone has a solution that allows me to use rename in the Nav window.

Thanks ranman, but I have a function. What I really want to know is if others have the same issue with rename closing immediately or is there a setting somewhere that I have missed.I'd like to do the rename on the main window.

No I don't have your issue using A365
Have you checked your Name AutoCorrect options?
