Using Access for Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

Has anyone created an Access DB for developing and maintaining Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)? If so, would you be willing to share it with me?

Never heard of one. Quick search presented a commercial product http://fmea-software.org/, cost about $2,500. How much will it cost you to build from scratch?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I am looking the the same. I found one at SBS <link removed> for $135 but it is a locked database and I would not be able to modify it.
Did you ever find one? If not I am going to build my own.

    Thanks for any help

Been a long time since I was involved in one of those analyses. Based on what I recall of the in-house developed application, $2,500.00 would be a bargain for a business - if it does what you want. If not, but is close, the seller might modify for you. Unfortunately, my memory of the process is a bit fuzzy so I can't even think of what the table design needs to look like, but would think it obvious that equipment tables are necessary - either linked from another application or contained within the FMEA db.

Yes, Uppy, I have an Access 2019 FMEA tool but it is integrated into a large application that has almost 5000 forms/reports. The best that I can do is show you a few of the slides of the FMEA module.

The module is specific to the development of sales proposals. It reads the RPN, severity, occurrence, detection, revised RPN, revised occcurrence, revised RPN, recommended action, and actions taken out loud. It also compares multiple FMEA data for the same failure items.
