    what is the name of the opening screen?

    Hello Chaps,
    my programmer has written a nice bit of code for a job he is just starting
    when I click on the accdb file to open the file it goes straight into the main menu
    my programmer is away and I cant get hold of him .
    I dont know the name of the first screen that access opens when the i first click
    the access icon. Please tell me what the screen name is ( it has the list of tables and forms etc
    down the left side of the page) and how can I get to that page when the home menu is running?
    sorry ( may be a bit of an obscure question ) but I want to tweek the cade and cant get there

    Sounds like maybe you're after the navigation pane. Try pressing F11.
    He/she may have made this more difficult than that, it which case I'm not sure I can help further. Your story could be just a story and you don't really have the right to be bypassing their protections for all I know.
