Ms access Combo boxes saving values as ID

I created a form in access 2013 that has combo boxes that use data from a separate table and then save the inputs in the table of the form. The problem is it saves the inputs as their ID rather than the actual value. any help is appreciated.Click image for larger version.

then your combo has the ID as the bound column.
if you want it to save another column, then set THAT as the bound col.

You have probably used a look up field in your table - they are bad if you aren't aware of what they are doing - read and digest access.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm
