how to take the links in a table from the linked table?

    Hello Everyone
I have a doubt in dealing with the tables that I have copied locally in my systems and trying to do some changes.

My problem is all the tables are linked to the main table.
I have accidentally deleted few records when I am working in my local access database.
What might be the solution to just work and do some testing in the local table with the same structure and data.

I am afraid to work with the linked table.

    I have 2 tables:
    tData-remote (linked table)
    tData-local (internal table)

the actual table name is: tData
whichever one I want to use, I rename to tData
and the app uses that data.

    Okay.
So what I did is copy and pasted the data with just the structure and data. But I am using the same table name.
And I couldn't see the linked arrow in any of my table. Does that mean its no more linked to the table and is it safe to work now?
And I also disconnected the master file location in the query.

No arrow means there is no link and it is a local table.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
