    Access New

    guys, i am new to access and im trying to build up a database... Does anyone can help me how to do so. I have tables which contains fields
    Document Reference
    ID_No. (P.K)
    Doc Ref:
    Type:


    Doc RefP.K)
    Date Received:
    Doc type:
    Doc Date
    From_Company:
    Sender:
    To_Company:
    Recipient:
    Issue For:
    With Attachment
    Subject/Description
    Response REf:
    REsponse RefP.K)
    Response Date:

    I dont know how to normalize this table i have come up with this please see attached but when i tried to do it in form theres an error saying Cannot add records Join Key of table Document Ref is not on recordset

    I don't see any attachments.

    But from you've said, it sounds like a SQL error somewhere in your Code. Can you post your database (or at least the Code where you get your error)?

    Actually its one table...

    and i normalized it.... then i come up with this (attached) can you please help me please i have a deadline and until now i havent come up with anything!

    I can't open ACCDB files. You'll need to Save As an Access 2000 MDB.

    I'm having trouble fully understanding your database, but I think the problem is with your Relationships.

    Maybe someone else with more experience could help you out more, sorry
