    Exporting Reports to MS Excel

I have an assignment to export (by using VBA code) MS Access reports to Excel. I can do this, but I have read online that it can be very messy. The results do not in general look good.

So what gives? Is this worth the trouble or not?

Any help appreciated. thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

My experience matches your research. I've had mixed results at best, and gave up trying. I export the underlying query to Excel if I just need the data. If I need something nicely formatted and need it in Excel, I use automation. It can be tedious, but you have better control over the output.
