Form Updating

Hello,



I have created a database of printer inventory with a form at the front end where you can scroll through all of the records and import the new records.

The functionality that I'm aiming to add in is that when you put in a serial number of an existing record in the serial number field on this form, I want it to update the rest of the fields and pull up the information from that serial number. Is there any way to achieve this?

If I understand correctly, try the combo box wizard, choosing the third option, "Find a record...".

Ahhh!!!!!!! I forget about the wizards!!! I've been trying to figure this out for a while looking at the code and box properties! It was too easy! LOL! Thanks for your reply... you're a life saver!
