Cool Event link in Pivot Table doesn't work!

    Hi,

I have prepared a form with an event in one of its fields. (click event)
I set the properties as "Link", prepare the click event code and so on...

This works fine in the "Sheet view", but when I change it to "Pivot Table view" it doesn't do anything!!!

I am getting crazy, any help is welcome!

    Regards,
    Mikel.

Set the what property of what as "Link" - set a textbox DisplayAsHyperlink property? What event? What code?

Sorry, I didn't explain it right.

What I mean is that when I use a Form with the data seen as "Pivot table" and i try to program any event for any of its fields, it does nothing.

The same form does work when I change the view of the same form to "Datasheet view" or "Split view".

The problem is not related with the event (can be any, click event, focus event or whatever), is just the triggering.

Hope this time is clearer, and thanks again for your help.

Well, I've never used pivot tables/charts so not really familiar with their quirks. If the events won't trigger when in pivot view then I have to conclude that is by design. Events are not available to pivot view. Review https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Fo...orum=accessdev

Be aware pivot tables/charts removed from Access 2013.

    Ok, thanks.
I will try it other way.
Is it possible to group some records in Datasheet view? If so, How?

What do you mean by 'group'? Perhaps you should build a report?
