    Woring with two open forms

I am inputting data into two forms on my MS Access 2010 database. It works okay, once I found out how to open two forms at once by using a nmacro. I am sure there are other ways.

In one form I type in a person's name and all other critical information such as employer and his/her status with the company. This works well. After that amount of info is in, I then press an add button that will put the person's name and other things into another form that is connected to the database.

    It works.

However, the new name and relevant information are only seen once I close and re-open the second form. If I just move over to that form, remember both forms are open simultaneously, and start running through the employee name the just added name is not there.

To see it, I must close the form and then reopen it. I am unsure why this is occurring. Please explain.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

You will need to save the record first. You can also have the save operation make the second form requery.
