    Field Name Change

I changed the name of a field that I had on a table. Was "Training.ARSC" and it was a date controlled field...

I changed it to "Training.ARSCTSISC" it now holds a 6 digit ID number.

When I run my form I get an Enter Parameter Value box that says: "Training.ARSC" if I click ok, it goes away and my form runs perfectly... But it's annoying. How can I take the previous field completely out of my form? I did change it on the table, and in the form it shows correctly, but the previous field name is still in there somewhere.

Please dumb down your responses to me as much as possible!!!

Somewhere on the form (or in its source query if applicable) that field is being referred to. It may also be in the OrderBy property. You might try entering some value that will stand out into the parameter box and see if you can find it on the form after it opens.

    Re:

I did build the form from my tables, that means no source query right?

How can I find the OrderBy Property? I don't think I have this... I googled it, it looks like something I would have to set up for sorting right? I've always just used the normal sorts, if that matters.

Thank you so much for your help!!!

Also, I did try entering a date, which is what the field was previously set to do, and the form just opened to my first entry on the form like normal (twice). It did not bring up one of my entries with the date.

If you click on "Post Reply" or "Go Advanced", you'll see a "Manage Attachments" button. Usually compacting the db before zipping will make it small enough to post.

We certainly don't want that type of thing posted. How about the form by itself, with an empty copy of the table its based on (ie, export those 2 into a new database and delete all the data)?
