Table Data Type - Number - Problem

I am an MS Access expert so I am not being silly and nobody at Microsoft has been able to help me find the problem.

When I open any Table in Design View and go to any Number Type Field, the Field Size Combo box list is Blank.
In other words, I cannot select for example Single or Double. If I type in the value Single, a dialog pops up telling me that the value is not in the list.

I have re-installed Office 365. My system is running Windows 10 and everything is 100% up to date. Everything was working just fine yesterday.

Anybody having the same problem or able to offer a solution.
    Thank you.

i had a weird problem like that too. We tried repair, uninstall, reinstall, ....NOTHING.
The only fix was to use a different PC.

Its still a problem. and its been more than 48 hours since Microsoft brought my development work to a halt. I have tried calling them and their online/live support and its just been a waste of time. Hurry up and fix this please.

    Hi RuralGuy.
Yes. I tried the work around. It however does not help me because I have to make design changes for an existing system that forms a critical part of my clients application.
I could go and make a new table and then rename it ect. However, in this instance there are a few tables that I need to change the data type. Your work-around does not work for an existing table.
Besides that, it a pain in the ass to be paying for software that does not work as it should. It was working perfectly until Thursday and I get up Friday morning and its all ......Besides the crucial app I have to change, I have 5 other projects that I have to have finished by month end and I cannot be changing Access Options every 5 minutes when I need to add a new field to a table or edit and existing table.
Anyway. I guess I'm not the only unhappy Access User. Thanx for paying attention to the posts...just wish the problem was solved already.
