Code and Form windows switch at random

I often have the coding window and the related form window on screen at the same time, code in front of form. Access 2016 switches from the code window to the form window of its own accord, often whilst still typing in the code window. Most annoying. I have not been able to find any option setting to prevent this happening and have not found any Internet discussion of this problem. I suspect that a registry edit may be needed. Can anyone advise please how to resolve this?

Never encountered this. No idea what is cause.

Have you tried db on a different computer?

Thanks for that suggestion. I will give it a try. Strange thing is that Access 2010 did not exhibit this behaviour on this same machine!

One more reason I don't look forward to 'upgrading'. I am happy with Windows 7 and Office 2010.

I use "Converting" instead of "Upgrading", especially when referring to Microsoft programs.

I used to say "Downgrading" when talking about moving to a newer version of Windows or Office, but it confused too many people.

Combination Windows10 and Access 2016 worked perfectly on another machine!! Concluded that I had some file corruption somewhere despite having the latest updates from Microsoft for these packages. I ran a third party system file repair tool as my System Restore options did not have an early enough restore point. The problem has been resolved and the Access design tools also run much faster......
