    Creating SubForm

    Hello guys,

I tried creating a subform using the subform wizard on my form and I get a messagebox saying "Application-defined or object-defined error" I have created multiple subforms before from different tables and have never gotten an error before. I have no idea why this is here. I think if I remember I created the subform using this table before, I added more fields to the table so I deleted the subform, and when tried to create the subform again, it wont work.

    -Thanks

    Try manually.
create a form. put the data you want to be in the sub form. save

now edit the master form (parent)
grab the subform icon off the tool bar, put it in the master form.
    in the properties, datatab
source object= pick the form you made above
    link master field = masterID
    link child field = masterID
    save

    This should work.

Better think of creating a separate table for the fields you added to the original subform table. They could have ended up being more than what access can handle. Play up with the relationships, place two subforms on the master form.
