You put these boxes on a form.
The query reads the text boxes as parameters and rebuilds the graph.

    Hi ranman,

I did the query reads the text boxes parameter and return the values with filter criterias. But how to rebuild the graph with filter datas?

I hate to be a party-pooper, but do you really have to use Access to chart? Access charts suck more than a Dyson vacuum cleaner, and MS will never fix it as long as they own Excel and can sell you that too. Consider this, if you just started and have 10 more to do, you can expect to multiply your current grief by at least 10x, because here you are not being able to do a simple task like update a chart. I don't say this to ridicule you, because I probably can't do it either. I never learned because it was frustrating enough to just deal with chart labels and legends that I couldn't control on my one and only pie chart, so I ran (not walked) the other way. If you are stuck with it, then the only suggestion I can offer otherwise is to consider an Access chart as a type of form and use whatever updating methods it provides. Hope that helps somebody someday if not you. Good luck!!

    Hi Micron,

I got no choice because my database for a single day are more than 100000 lines & more than 100 columns. Excel just unable to handle this even for one week data. I have to deal with access for this. Please somebody could guide me through.

    thank you

All I can offer is that if the underlying table or query for a chart is refreshed, the form needs to be refreshed in order to update the chart. As noted above:

...consider an Access chart as a type of form and use whatever updating methods it provides.
