Build a database

I'd like to find someone to build a simple database for me. I just do not have the knowledge or time to do it. How do I go about finding someone?

Yes. I have a list of customers. Each customer has 2 separate account numbers plus a status of active/inactive/cancelled. I want to build a database with two forms. The first form would allow a user to enter either account number and then populate the other three fields. The second form would allow a user to update information (change account numbers, change customer name, change status).

I tried to build it, but I need a macro (I guess) so that when I enter an account number, the other fields change when I exit that box. I am not sure how to do it. I am totally lost.

I am happy to share what I have. It's very basic.
