    Access to Excel

I use Microsoft access and excel quite basically so any help given will be hugely appreciated but will have to be in Laymans terms unfortunately.

I currently have a Microsoft Access Database populated from a seperate source. This access is the Master so to speak.

I want to link individual cells from the Master Acess Database to Individual Cells in Microsoft Excel.

Ive done some reading and from what ive seen i think i need a buffer of sorts between my access and excel.

    Can anybody help.

    Thanks

in the relationship between Access and Excel; it is Access' role to provide the record set - that can be either a table or a query

in Excel one can link to Access record sets - beyond that common statement you would need to delve more deeply into excel features.....

I do not think a buffer file is in play
