This same thing happened to me. I have an xp computer running ms access 2010 vba multiple times per day. about a month ago the cdo email system just quit working. it returns the message and codes



runtime error 2147220973 (80040213)
CDO.Message No Longer Working (Gmail) - Failed to Transport Error


I tried the fix that was listed above. also changed ports to one that was "listening". also i turned off fire wall, and virus protection. still get the same error.

was there a new reference i need to add in the vba code?

i move my code to a windows 7 machine, made a simple message and it still will not send.

anybody else having this problem
