    Separating fields

Okay, so I have a field that is "lastname, firstname". I ran the query to separate the fields into "LastName" and Firstname" and in most cases it is "lastname", "firstname" - however, some of the fields are not in that order. So, when I ran the query, the fields that were not in the format (lname, fname) all came back with #Error in the field for lastname. It's time for me to merge that table with a Word Doc. My address line, and envelope all use the lastname field, how do I eliminate the #Error code from my query? I guess I can search and replace with a space...Any other suggestions?

FYI - Here is an example

    Jones, Tom
    First National Bank

When the query runs it separates Jones, Tom into two separate fields Tom Jones; however, when the query gets to First National Bank, my field Lastname, becomes #Error
