Ms Access 2010 queries

Hi We have AX 2009 as our ERP system and we have created access database queries where it pulls out various reports from AX to access database. This has been very inconsistent lately, it works sometimes and most of the times, it comes up with an error below. We are using office 2010 32 bit OS with Windows Server 2008 R2. Can someone guide me what I should be checking for this error message and how please as I have limited knowledge regarding access

Did the query ran a long time (say over 60 minutes)? If that is the case, you could turn it timeout variable to never time out.

No, the query only runs for about 20-30 seconds before it times out

Here is list of things to try.

1) Re-link the tables.
2) Compact and Repair.
3) Is the Access database size close to 2 GB?
4) Can you open the table or just the query that is causing the ODBC error?
5) Is everything up to date with patches, upgrades, etc?
